Department 1 Symbol: Cross
The symbol of Department 1 is the cross, which means Christ is the center in planning education development programs to improve the quality of school leadership, the role and function of educators, and parenting school to accelerate the process of educational transformation in Christian schools in Indonesia.
Department 1 has the task of developing education where they have a role to improve the quality of teachers and education as well as school management. Department 1 provides training to teachers in the form of a Christian worldview which aims to ensure that teachers can have a life that is worthy/similar to Christ so that they are able to provide a good example of Christian education to students.
Department 1 also socializes the book 'MPK Christian Education Basic Series' so that teachers can understand the basis of Christian education and apply it in the teaching and learning process. In addition, Department 1 has an important role in developing the quality of education to build the character and intelligence of students through the management of differentiated learning, inclusive class management, literacy and numeracy development, as well as through the implementation of the 'PAUD Mover Organization' program. Department 1 also plays a role in school management focusing on cooperation between foundations and foundation unit leadership bodies as well as unit leaders to organize and manage Christian education contextually.
