JAKARTA — The General Chairman of the Indonesian Christian Education Council and CEO of Frontier, Handi Irawan D., MBA., M.Com, has been officially appointed to the Honorary Board of the Indonesian Christian Religious Higher Education Consultative Body (BMPTKKI).
The appointment took place during the BMPTKKI Annual General Meeting of Members on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Jakarta.
BMPTKKI is a strategic forum overseeing more than 200 Theological Colleges (STT) across Indonesia. This organization plays a vital role in the development of theological education, the improvement of academic quality, and the formation of ecclesiastical leadership and a society of integrity.
The appointment of Handi Irawan D. to the Honorary Board of BMPTKKI is expected to strengthen the synergy between theological colleges, churches, and various stakeholders in the development of Christian education in Indonesia.
Previously, Handi Irawan was also entrusted as a member of the Advisory Board of BKPTKI (Association of Indonesian Christian Higher Education), a forum overseeing 37 Christian universities in Indonesia, including Pelita Harapan University (UPH), Christian University of Indonesia (UKI), Krida Wacana Christian University (Ukrida), Petra Christian University, Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW), and Duta Wacana Christian University (UKDW).
Beyond his contributions to the world of education, Handi Irawan is widely known as the CEO of Frontier, a research, marketing, and technology firm. He also serves as the Chairman of MPK, the Bilangan Research Center (BRC), and a Member of the Higher Education Council (DPT) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.
