Jakarta, September 13, 2024 – The Christian Education Council Region IV Jabodesiten (MPKW Jabodesiten) organized a Workshop Series titled “Creative & Productive: Optimizing G.apps & AI Tools for Modern Teachers” on Saturday (13/9/2024) at IPEKA Pluit School, North Jakarta.
The event, which ran from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB, was officially opened by the Chairman of MPKW Jabodesiten, Wiseno Benny Murtono. This workshop was designed for teachers, school administrative staff, and education practitioners to enhance their competence in utilizing digital technology to support the teaching and learning process.
Participants received hands-on training from experienced practitioners, including Ervan (Gsites), Coach Gusman (Gemini), Andreas (GForms & Sheets), and Coach Theo (Canva), who provided guidance on the use of Google Workspace, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and instructional content design through Canva.
Through practical and applicative sessions, participants were encouraged to understand the integration of digital technologies such as spreadsheets, online forms, and the utilization of AI in lesson planning and evaluation. The objective is to enable educators to be more creative, efficient, and productive amidst the developments of the digital era.
MPKW Jabodesiten emphasized that educational transformation depends not only on infrastructure but also on human resource capacity. “The wise utilization of G.apps and AI will make teachers more relevant and effective in addressing contemporary educational challenges,” stated a committee representative.
This workshop is part of MPKW Jabodesiten’s ongoing efforts to drive innovation and the digitalization of education within Christian school environments, while continuing to prioritize Christian values in every step of the transformation.
