The Christian Education Council in Indonesia (MPK) proudly announces the winners of the MPK Cup 2026 Chess Competition for the primary school category and the junior high/senior high/vocational high school category. This competition serves as a platform for students from Christian schools from various regions in Indonesia to develop strategic thinking skills, sportsmanship, concentration, and excellent character.
Primary School Category
First place was achieved by Jessen Michael Aiji Pranata from SDS Permata Bogor (MPKW Jabodesiten). Second place was taken by Ramot Martua Manalu from SD Kristen Ketapang III Cibubur (MPKW Jabodesiten), while third place was achieved by Leonathan Edgar Hansen from SD Kristen PENABUR Summarecon Bekasi (MPKW Jabodesiten).
Honorable mentions were achieved by:
- 4th Place: Clayton Trevor Pratama – SD Kristen BPK PENABUR Sukabumi (MPKW Jawa Barat)
- 5th Place: Ardian Dhimas Satria – SDS Kristen Tabgha Batam (MPKW Kepulauan Riau)
- 6th Place: Alessio Victory Brilian Saggio – SD Kristen YBPK Mojowarno (MPKW Jawa Timur)
- 7th Place: Kaiden Kamsari – SDK PENABUR Gading Serpong (MPKW Jabodesiten)
Junior High / Senior High / Vocational High School Category
First place was achieved by Jordan Marcello Trisfant from SMA Terang Nusantara Bandung (MPKW Jawa Barat). Second place was achieved by Clayton Valentino Dharmanto from SMA Kristen Petra 1 Surabaya (MPKW Jawa Timur), and third place was achieved by Matthew Joshua Hartono, CCNA from SMA Kristen Dian Harapan Daan Mogot (MPKW Jabodesiten).
Honorable mentions were achieved by:
- 4th Place: Gregorius Willy Kwan – RSI Indonesia Palembang (MPKW Sumbagsel)
- 5th Place: Jordan Angelo Tarman – SMP Methodist 2 Medan (MPKW Sumut/NAD)
