TANGERANG, March 28, 2026 — The world of education is evolving rapidly. New information, learning technologies, and increasingly complex student needs demand that schools continuously adapt and keep pace.
This necessity served as the background for the MPKW Jabodesiten Meet & Greet: “Level Up: Empower Your Students,” held on Saturday (3/28) at Tunas Bangsa School Gading Serpong.
The event served as a meeting point for MPKW Jabodesiten member schools and various partners in the education department, technology, and other supporting services. The objective was simple: to help schools catch up with the latest educational developments and explore collaboration opportunities.
A total of 40 school foundations attended, each sending representatives from foundation leadership, principals, vice-principals, and teachers.
Also in attendance was the Indonesian Christian Teachers Association (GUKI) of DKI Jakarta and Banten, strengthening the network among Christian education stakeholders.
Part of the MPK 2030 VISION
This activity is not an isolated event but is aligned with the MPK 2030 vision to accelerate the transformation of Christian schools in Indonesia.
Through the theme “Level Up: Empower Your Students,” participants were invited to understand various critical aspects of educational development, ranging from further studies, digital and technological services, health and mental health, and youth development, to financial literacy, in order to address diverse student personalities and character building.
Several partners attended and shared their insights, including Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA), Bentara Citra Bangsa, UI Digital, Verico Academy, GAPOPIN, DoE Intaward Indonesia, and BRI.
The programs introduced were designed to address the real needs of schools amidst ongoing changes.
The series of events was presented interactively through a mini-seminar titled “The Role of Schools in Supporting Student Personality,” delivered by Mr. Fidelis Waruwu, M.Sc.Ed., followed by partner presentation sessions and exhibition booths.
This is where the primary value of the event was felt. Schools not only gained new insights but were also able to engage in direct discussions, explore collaborations, be equipped, and find concrete solutions applicable to their environments.
Through this activity, MPKW Jabodesiten encourages the creation of a connected, supportive, and continuously growing Christian education ecosystem.
The hope is that every school will not only be able to keep up with the times but also prepare students to face the future more effectively.
