MANADO — The Christian Education Council (MPK) Indonesia, in collaboration with the Directorate of Early Childhood Education and Non-formal Education (PAUD and PNF) of Kemendikdasmen, organized a Basic-Level Tiered Early Childhood Education and Development (PAUD) Training for educators in the North Sulawesi and Gorontalo regions. The training, held from August 10–14, 2026, took place at the Silo Hall of the Eben Haezar Foundation, Manado.
This training was organized with the primary goal of enhancing the competencies of PAUD teachers who do not yet hold a Bachelor's degree in PAUD. Through this basic-level training, participants are expected to strengthen their pedagogical foundations and open opportunities to pursue a Bachelor's degree in PAUD through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway.
A total of 26 PAUD teachers from various schools under the umbrella of Christian education foundations in the MPKW North Sulawesi and Gorontalo (Sulut-Go) area actively participated in this series of activities.
Quality early childhood education (PAUD) plays a key role as the primary foundation in shaping character, faith, and Christian values from an early age. Therefore, strengthening the capacity of educators at this level is an inseparable part of the larger agenda for Christian education transformation—to produce a generation that is not only academically excellent but also deeply rooted spiritually and morally.
The process of material enrichment and mentorship during the training was facilitated by experienced instructors and mentors in their respective fields.

Meanwhile, for guidance on fieldwork implementation, participants were accompanied by Independent Task Practice Mentors (PPTM):

Through the organization of this training, PAUD teachers are expected to be further enriched with relevant insights and pedagogical skills. This strategic step represents a tangible commitment from MPKW Sulut-Go and its partners to comprehensively advance the quality of Christian schools, thereby preparing an intelligent, character-driven, and competitive Golden Generation of Indonesia.
